This adventure takes you from coastal landscapes and historic sites to some of the most breathtaking mountain scenery in Southeast Asia. Travel along the legendary Ho Chi Minh Trail, visit ethnic minority villages, explore UNESCO sites like Hue Citadel and Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park, and experience authentic Vietnamese culture along the way. The mountains in the north are higher, the passes more dramatic, and the landscapes simply unforgettable. This tour offers a complete experience of Vietnam’s natural beauty, history, and culture.

Itinerary

Day 1: Hoi An – Hue (190 km)

Visit Cham towers and historic war sites. Ride over Hai Van Pass and through rice fields.

Stop at Tam Giang Lagoon and visit local fishing villages before arriving in Hue.

Overnight: Hotel

Day 2: Hue – Phong Nha (230 km)

Cross Tam Giang Lagoon by ferry and ride through countryside roads.

Visit Hien Luong Bridge and Vinh Moc Tunnels before continuing to Phong Nha.

Overnight: Hotel / Homestay

Day 3: Phong Nha – Tan Ky (290 km)

Ride along the Ho Chi Minh Trail through remote landscapes and limestone karsts.

Enjoy one of the most scenic sections of the trail before reaching Tan Ky.

Day 4: Tan Ky – Mai Chau (290 km)

Ride through mountain passes to Mai Chau valley.

Stay with a local family in a traditional Thai stilt house and enjoy home-cooked food.

Day 5: Mai Chau – Ta Xua (200 km)

Ride through remote mountain areas with dirt roads and steep climbs.

Cross the Da River by ferry and continue to Ta Xua.

Day 6: Ta Xua – Mu Cang Chai (230 km)

Explore Hmong and Dao minority regions with spectacular mountain scenery.

This is one of the most scenic and rewarding riding days.

Day 7: Mu Cang Chai – Sapa (170 km)

Ride through mountain passes including Tram Ton Pass (Heaven’s Gate).

Enjoy views of Fansipan Mountain and Sapa’s famous rice terraces.

Day 8: Sapa – Vu Linh (220 km)

Ride toward the Chinese border and visit Lao Cai.

Continue through remote villages and along Thac Ba Lake to Vu Linh.

Day 9: Vu Linh – Hanoi (170 km)

Ride through rural landscapes, tea plantations, and mountain roads.

Finish the journey in Hanoi after an unforgettable adventure.

Note: Either ride by yourself or sit on the back with one of our experienced riders.
